Zac Keiller is a prolific musician from Australia. He's created more than 30 releases which run from quiet ambient to raging noise. He runs a label called Dreamland Recordings. A while back he invited me to be a part of a split and collaborative series he's putting out.
Limited to fifty copies packaged in paper envelope sleeves with artwork by Aussie painter Arthur Karanikas. Arthur is also a member of audio visual bands Volume=Colour and Lost to the City.
Zac's side contains shades of molasses and trains running through the middle of nowhere at night. There are moments of static and symphonic guitar. It's great stuff. I can't comment on what my half sounds like other than to say I really enjoyed making it. Zac says it's "beautifully destroyed lofi guitar sounds."
Other musicians in the series include Clinton Green, Aidan Baker, P.D. Wilder, Brad Stafford and Twilight and Dawn. Zac is an excellent guy with an amazing work ethic and attitude, and I'm happy to contribute.
